Nice first impression but unusable

I am using the Windows version (basic but working) but I can not use it as I planned - input both on Iphone and on PC and bidirectional sync. The bidir sync destroys the data and there is no way to recovery. A one-way sync, pc->iphone works with frequent crash.
A am worried about the missing updates, it looks SplashData decided not to maintain the program. I am thinking to switch to an other tool throwing away 20+€ and a year of experience.
